Teaching Philosophy

As a researcher and an educator, my responsibility is not only limited to the discovery of new scientific body of knowledge but also encompasses creating an enabling environment for congenial learning. In my view, teaching in itself is a two-way process; i) an opportunity to impart knowledge and ii) also learn by way of interaction with the students. Therefore teaching entails influencing young people to be interested in new ideas, to be curious about basic science principles and being critical thinkers.
